The General Overseer of Winning Faith Worldwide, Pastor,
Elisha Elkanameh has called on Nigerians to see beyond a nation in distress and
in recession. He maintained that our persistent thought of recession retards
the economy.
Dr. Elisha made this known during the 2016 Street
Christmas concert organized by Mrs. Ego Ngorka, A staff of MITV in conjunction
with WISEMENHUB.COM at Egbeda, Lagos. He called on Nigerians to always remain focused on a positive economy,
Lagos Based gospel musicians were on hand to entertain the
crowd that gathered to witness the soul lifting event. Among them were Harvest
man, Ada Zion, Afam, Elshadai International band, Mountain of fire Choir, Evang.
Chukwudi and a host of others.
However, the Nigerian’s latest kid musician, Quiano was the cynosure
of all eyes.
When she was called out to perform, the crowd thought that the
nine year old was going forward to take a popular poem, how wrong everyone was,
because she took everyone by surprise as she dazzled with her beautiful style of music
and attractive voice.
Some of those who spoke to WISEMEN said they were at the
programme to be happy since it is obvious that the harsh economic situation in
the country has affected the celebration of Christmas for this year.
They gave instances to the fact that the usual Christmas
Carols heard from the Lagos markets, streets and bus stops may have gone with
the recession. The fireworks that starts
with the kids by October ending is nowhere to be heard and even the harmatan
weather has refused to show up in the Lagos area as has always being the case.
