Domestic assault charges against wrestler Jerry Lawler and his fiancee, Lauryn McBride were dismissed Friday. Lawler and McBride were charged with domestic assault after an incident at Lawler's East Memphis home. McBride told police Lawler hit her, pushed her against a stove, and put an unloaded gun on the kitchen counter, telling her to kill herself.
Lawler said McBride was drunk, scratched his face, and kicked him in the groin. June 20, a judge ordered the couple to stay away from one another. According to Shelby County records, the court decided not to prosecute Lawler or McBride.
