(The WISEMEN)....Four people at a prison in El Salvador were murdered on Saturday in a fight between inmates, the national prison service has said.
The men, all members of the Barrio 18 gang, were serving time at the prison in the city of Quezaltepeque, around 13 miles from capital city San Salvador.
The attorney general's office said that the death toll could rise.
Fourteen inmates were killed at the prison in August last year, with authorities saying it was part of a purge within the same gang.
