In their desire to continue with grass root development of football, the Anambra State football Association has been sponsored by CAPITAL OIL to produce their own version of the round leather ball nicknamed, 'football made in Anambra'.
The man behind the success story
of Capital oil, Dr. Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah made the presentation of the Football
to a select group of journalists and bloggers from Anambra State on friday at
his Cooperate head office in Apapa, Lagos.
FIFA has already Endorsed 50,000
units of the football to be used for matches hence forth.
The FA Plans to begin the export
of the Anambra made football for use in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the rest of
the world.
It was gathered that West ham will
be the first place where the ball will be used in Europe.
Ifeanyi Ubah FC is unarguably the
only Nigerian professional league side that has defiled the current economic
recession in the country to move on with their soccer developmental programmes {both home and abroad}
.
.

The team is currently ranked 3rd
on the Nigerian Professional League (NPFL) table. A feat which appears more
like the result of motivation by the team’s
management.
There is an ongoing football
promotion and development agreement involving the Club and west Ham FC of London
for training and exchange of professionalism both in players and administration.
WISEMEN spoke to a participant,
who said, “NFF and the League Management
Company will do well to harness the opportunities presented by the Ifeanyi Ubah
example in the interest of other Clubs and for the good of the game in the Country”.
In continuation of the on-going agreement between
West Ham and Capital oil, the next batch of players to be trained By the London
side will leave the Country by November.
wow! kudos, l wont wait to see it used in England. This is what we want to see not those who will sit in one place to complain while their tenure is ending. Ifeanyi should be rewarded for this singular act.
