A heavy cloak of mourning may have fallen again on Nigeria
once more today as rumours of Governor Sullivan Chime’s death filters in.
Shortly after the death of Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna
State was announced. It was said in a rumor going around that he gave up the
ghost in India.
The late Governor, His Excellency Sullivan Chime was said to
have been battling with an undisclosed illness for some months now. And when
citizens of the State began questioning his prolonged absence from Enugu, the
officials gave a story that he was on a long vacation accrued over some period
of years.
Unconfirmed reports had it that Chime passed on at an Indian
hospital after battling an undisclosed ailment for some months.
