Nigerian youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho, had a memorable show in the first Manchester derby of the season played Saturday at Old Trafford.
Kevin De Bruyne got the opening goal off an assist from Nigeria’s Iheanacho in the 15th minute.
United were two goals down in the 34th minute as Iheanacho enjoyed a simple tap in off a rebound shot.
The derby goal for Iheanacho was his 9th Premier League goal.
However, United made sure they reduced the deficit before half time. Summer acquisition, Zlatan Ibrahimovic pounced on a goalkeeping error to give United some sort of lifeline.
Hard as United tried to level things up in the second half, they just couldn’t despite thier myriad of chances.
At the end, it was Pep Guardiola’s team that had the last laugh over Jose Mourinho’s United.
