The Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kolapo Olubunmi Olusola
has said that Ekiti State government under the leadership of Dr. Ayodele Fayose
will not stop to speak out against injustice wherever it is done in Nigeria.
He maintained that the State Chief executive, Dr. Ayodele
Fayose has been in the fore-front of calling the attention of the Federal government
to the marginalization of the Igbos in
Nigeria.
He said this while congratulating the newly elected
President general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr. Nnia Nwodo in Ekiti State during the
reception in his honour by Ohanaeze leaders in the South-west region held at
the Ohanaeze cultural centre in Ado-Ekiti.
He said that the nation needs the igbos with their
commercial talents to overcome recession.
He hailed the igbos as the champions of trade, investment and commerce, insisting
the nation would betray justice and equity by ignoring them.
Chief Nathaniel Uzoma who doubles as the President of Ohanaeze in Ekiti State and also the Chairman of the Southwest led the mammoth crowd in the civic reception with Dr. Ferguson Okoli, President of Lagos State Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
