EMENIKE WINS BACK FENERBACHE FANS, BUT DOUBTFUL FOR MONACO REMATCH

Emmanuel Emenike and the Fenerbachce fans have mended fences after the Nigeria striker fell out with them for booing him and he was forced to go out on loan.

Emenike got a standing ovation from the Fenerbache fans when a calf injury forced him to leave a UEFA Champions League qualifier against Monaco after he scored twice.

The second-half injury may well stop the Nigeria star from the return leg in Monaco.

Emenike has also shone in pre-season matches and the rousing reception he got from the stands in Istanbul on Wednesday night now shows that all has been forgiven and forgotten.
