Chelsea made a surprising signing on Deadline Day by
bringing back the ex-Chelsea defender David Luiz from PSG. Although the move
isn’t set in stone yet it seems very likely due to his eagerness of coming back
and his quick arrival today at Stamford Bridge.
Reports suggest that he may
have arrived early this-afternoon in a helicopter.
The 29-year-old will want to get underway well at Chelsea
under the careful eye of his new manager, Antonio Conte.
David Luiz was taken out the squad after the start of his
Premier League career as his bold but adventurous playing style did not suit
the blues at all, but proved that he was a quality centre-back after having
a promising last season at PSG, winning
two Ligue 1 titles and making strong connections with his defending partner
Thiago Silva.
On the other side, his stats do also back him up and show
how he has matured as a player throughout his career and steadily has got better.
Many people believe this is why Conte has decided to bring the Brazilian
defender back into his winning squad of Blues.
