Ifeanyi Ubah has again called on the Federal Government to consult him on the current state of the dollar exchange rate for a drastic fall of the rate to aid the ailing economy. He strongly insists that the economy of the nation is badly supervised.
"Nigerians have no business
getting the dollar at the current rate if the right thing is done, let the
Federal Government consult me and the dollar exchange rate will hit the ground
like before". He said.
He made this disclosure during an interactive
session with journalists and bloggers from Anambra State at Golden tulip hotel,
Lagos.
The young media chaps were latter
taken to his petroleum jetty at Apapa lagos for on-the-spot assessment of the
highest petroleum distribution depot in West Africa. The jetty also boasts of
the largest marine vessel in recent time.
The WISEMEN Chief Editor who was
on the assessment tour, discovered that Capital oil accounts for about 60% of petroleum
products distributed nationwide.
The young media chaps were quick
to digest how it was easy for Capital oil to salvage the situation when the
nation was besieged with fuel crises that crippled the Nigerian Economy at a
time.
Capital oil threw open their fuel
farm to move PMS round the nation so as to avert economic crises and loss of
lives in the various hospitals, whose health services were discontinued having
ran out of petroleum products. He clarified
how he ordered the essential commodity to be moved into hospitals on credit to
save lives.
While answering questions from
newsmen, He explained the issue of kerosene subsidy under President Jonathan,
and how those who accused him of the same subsidy fraud turned around to ensure
the President Buhari led Federal government paid him about ten billion naira
owed him since 2012.
He commended President Buhari who
ordered his payment even though he was not there when the transaction took
place. He also lauded the commitment of PMB but doubted the competence of his cabinet
members.
The managing director of Capital oil regrets Nigerians
under-utilization of gas, insisting that if given the opportunity, he will build
a refinery in Anambra State and an Independent Power Company to generate about
100 megawatts of Power.
Ifeanyi Ubah used his recent 45 years
birthday marked without any fun fare to pay his workers for three months in one
day. The workers appeared before the
newsmen and the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress, Lagos State branch to
show appreciation.

l think that this is the second time this man is saying this and one does not understand why the PMB government has not seen the need to engage him even to give him that benefit of doubt. egba mi o!
