Nwodo Warns On The Continued Neglect Of Ndigbo In Nigeria

The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr. Nnia Nwodo has called on all Igbo associations to be affiliated to the Ohanaeze Ndigbo for a common front so as to realize the sweeping changes his leadership of the apex organization is bringing to Ndigbo.

The former Federal Minister was speaking at the ‘meet the people tour’ of his new executive to the leaders of Ndigbo in the South west zone of the Country. The tour coincided with the reception organized in his honour by the South west Ohanaeze leaders under the chairmanship of Chief Nathaniel  Uzoma.

Dr. Nwodo reiterated his call for the restructuring of the Country, maintaining that the current structure is lopsided. Dr. Nnia Nwodo called on the Igbos to be united, invest more into education and see the eastern Nigeria become another China or Dubai.

Earlier in his speech, the south west Ohanaeze leader, Chief Nathaniel Amechi Uzoma  congratulated Dr. Nwodo on his election victory and called on him to look into the proliferation of associations Of Igbo origin.

    2. Igboland is actually beginning to have direction, we only hope that this is sustained. it is a step that needs to be encouraged. Please the truth remains that Nigeria will only develop after it is restructured. thanks Dr. Nwodo with your team.
